Desktop Magnolia runs small, in-person sessions where beginner traders learn to spot hammer, engulfing, and doji patterns on printed charts — then practise marking them on current market printouts under instructor guidance.

Pattern recognition on paper, not on a flashy screen
Most beginners rush into live charts without knowing what a single candle represents. Our workshops slow that down: you draw bodies and wicks, label swing highs, and compare today's printout to patterns you've already studied.
Two-Candle Pattern Clinic
Engulfing, harami, and piercing lines on Thai SET and regional equity examples. You leave with a completed pattern reference sheet and annotated charts from the session.

One-to-one follow-up for graduates who want feedback on their own marked charts. Bring printouts from your watchlist; we review entries, stops, and where your pattern labels drift.

Arrive with a blank workbook. Leave with marked examples.
Sessions start at 09:30 in our Ladya Road studio. We provide printed chart packs, coloured pencils, and a pattern glossary card. The first hour covers candle anatomy on a blank grid. After a short break, you work through three historical examples on Thai-listed stocks, then one live-session printout where you mark patterns without instructor hints.
We do not execute trades during class. The focus stays on reading structure: where the body closes relative to the prior bar, how long the wick extends, and whether volume context (provided on the handout) supports the pattern you think you see.
